Audition Instructions

You will perform one monologue, one vocal performance, and be evaluated in dance. Please record the three activities described below and share the videos as a file or link to YouTube with permissions set so we can view it.

  • Memorize a one-minute monologue from a play (not a book of monologues or a movie).
  • Send a video of a solo dance performance. Video submission should show an understanding of movement, style, choreography, rhythm and technique. This can be a recent performance, or something you record at home.
  • Sing 32 bars of a Broadway standard song. Recorded accompaniment will be accepted at this time.

For the Dance Only Package:

  • You will not be required to audition. Please fill out the application page without uploading a video.

In addition to performing the lead role nearly 50 times, he went on for featured roles including Joe Pesci and Bob Crewe. Soon after concluding the tour, Ben made his Broadway debut in the ensemble of Disney’s Frozen on Broadway, understudying the principle roles of Olaf and Duke Weselton. Ben recently concluded the brief Off Broadway run of Only Human alongside Academy Award nominee Gary Busey, as well as the World Premiere of The Flamingo Kid at Hartford Stage, where he understudied the male lead. Christy can be heard in the cast recordings of both Anastasia and Carrie. She toured the country in the first national tour of Spring awakening, playing the role of Wendla Bergman. Regional credits include Jerusha Abbott in John Caird and Paul Gordon’s production of Daddy Long Legs,Guinevere in Camelot at Drury Lane in Chicago, and ,most recently , Nellie Forbush in South Pacific at the Aspen Music festival. Christy is a graduate of the Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music. Catherine Fitzmaurice, Ricky Ian Gordon, Tiffany Haas, Adam Jacobs, Morgan James, Tina Landau, Alan Menken, Kelvin Moon Loh, Kelli O’Hara, Heather Parcells, Mandy Patinkin, Christine Pedi, Rachel Potter, and Emily Skinner are several of the many artists for whom Christopher has served as pianist. Dee was seen in the First National Tour of Finding Neverland playing the role of Peter Pan and was also the Associate Choreographer of the Broadway National Tour. Most recently, Dee was in the new musical presentations of Bliss the Musical choreographed by Josh Prince and directed by Sheryl Kaller, The Storm directed by Cory Michael Herman, and Kalevala the Musical choreographer by Alessandro Pellicani. Dee was featured on So You Think You Can Dance as a Top 15 female finalist in Season 10 where she met choreographer Mia Michaels. Dee worked as an assistant choreographer on numerous projects with Ms. Michaels including So You Think You Can Dance, the Joffrey Ballet, and Mia Michaels LIVE. Dee performed an original work choreographed by Mia Michaels at the Geffen Playhouse Los Angeles honoring Lin Manuel Miranda and Dick Van Dyke. Dee has been seen dancing and singing for Disney’s Freaky Friday Movie Musical, the NBC Upfronts, REEBOK, New York Fashion Week, AUDI Global Launch Events in Shanghai, with Grammy Nominee Aloe Blacc, Musical Artist DUMBLONDE, and Gillette Venus commercials. In addition to dancing, Dee has modeled for MAC Cosmetics, Enbrel Print, Beachbody Openfit Pilates subscriptions, Capezio Dancewear and Hasbro Products USA. Dee is currently on the Dance Faculty at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) located in New York City. Regional credits: Papermill Playhouse, La Jolla Playhouse, Theatre Under the Stars, Theatre of The Stars, Dallas Summer Musicals, The MUNY, Kansas City Starlight, D.C. Shakespeare Theatre Co., Walnut Street Theatre, and Pittsburgh Musical Theatre. Workshops: Anastasia, Countess of Storyville, and One for My Baby.
